We are a group of aviation enthusiasts, aircraft builders, and pilots primarily based out of the Bowling Green / Warren County Regional Airport who get together with like-minded people to share ideas, exchange information, encourage safety, serve the local aviation community and have a lot of FUN doing so. When we are not hanging out at the Bowling Green Airport you can usually find us around the grass strip in Franklin (Welcome Field, 35KY) or over at the Russellville Airport (4M7). Whether you fly, build, restore or simply enjoy airplanes and aviation, you are welcome to attend our events and join our chapter, we would love to see you there!
Our local chapter is part of the worldwide network of EAA chapters. EAA embodies the spirit of aviation through the world's most engaged community of aviation enthusiasts. EAA's 170,000 plus members enjoy the fun and camaraderie of sharing their passion for flying, building and restoring recreational aircraft. To find out more about national EAA programs and services, please visit EAA.org.
See our Events Page for our 2018 scheduled events including the EAA B-17 stopping in at KBWG in May!
EAA Chapter 1165 normally meets at the Bowling Green / Warren County Regional Airport (KBWG) on the second Tuesday of each month. Meetings begin at 7PM CST and are located on the second floor of the FBO in the conference room which is generously provided by Co-Mar Aviation.
